The Future We Deserve is going great! As you can see, we’ve raised the $2000 on Kickstarter, and now we’re pushing to get the 100 pieces written.

The 40 or so pieces we have so far are wonderful. The sense of a faceted future, each person with their own broad perspective on it, the profusion of options and yet the shared concerns strikes exactly the tone I had hoped the book would have in my most optimistic moments.

The deadline for submissions is September 15th 2010. To write for the book, go to the Collaboratory, sign up, and when your piece is ready, enter it directly on to your page there.

It’s really great to see so many people working together to create something that, I hope, will become a guide for others.
