The Future We Deserve is a book about the future which I am working on with a group of friends, new and old, mostly from Twitter. The purpose of the book is really simple – it’s to show lots and lots of great perspectives on the future, and to showcase the power of collaboration to make useful and interesting things in a a new way. We’ve seen the amazing power of collaboration to document the present and past on Wikipedia. Now we want to apply that same power of collaboration to creating The Future We Deserve.

If you would like to write a piece for the book the format is very simple: 500 words, with an open brief. The structure of the book will emerge from the essays. To join the project, sign up on the collaborators list on the wiki.
