This team envisaged a small (< 1kg) air drop first aid kit oriented towards serious injuries like broken limbs or open wounds. The first aid kid would be dropped on a small parachute or simple cardboard decelerator over an area with a substantial injured population to help them stabilize the injured until relief arrived. Small utility items like water purification tablets and space blankets could also be provided. The team went as far as to test two kinds of decelerators, and video of the tests in included.
